We have been SOOOO busy the past 2 months. I haven't even had a minute to think about updating my blog. Chase and I went on our honeymoon, celebrated Thanksgiving with my family, and then I started work at Kohls on Black Friday. We've both been working retail. Me at Kohls, and Chase at Target. It has been BUSY! We always worked opposite schedules and that was hard, but we made it through the holidays. Things have slowed down, and we're starting to get into a semi-normal schedule again.
On Thanksgiving we went to my family's house. It was delish and so fun to be with my family for the holiday's again after 2 years. We celebrated Thanksgiving with Chase's family about a week later.
On Christmas Eve, we both worked, but got off decently early. We ate dinner with his family, and then went and ate another dinner with my family. We slept over at my house that night on the couch, and spent Christmas morning with my family. Then we went to a brunch at Chase's grandparents, did Christmas with his family, did our own Christmas, went to my Grandparents, and finally got to relax. It was so fun!
Here's a few pics:

We went and saw the lights at Temple Square. That was one Christmas tradition I missed a lot on the mish. We tried to be artistic with our pictures. :) |

Sierra got to play Mary in her Special Needs Mutual Nativity. It was so cute. |

We got SPOILED this year by our parents. They gave us some things we really needed that we didn't get for our wedding, and a few fun things too!
We loved celebrating Christmas together!
Our "family" Christmas present Chase bought.
Tickets to the Jazz vs. Dallas Mavericks game.
We won. Such a sweet game.
For New Years, we stayed at home and had dinner with Chase's family, we went to Les Mis, then we played Wii games together for much longer than we should have. It was fun to just have a night alone. 2012 was such a good year. For half of the year I was on my mission, teaching the Spanish people of California who I grew to love with all my stinking heart. The other half I got to be with my family and friends again. I got married. I've never been happier or felt more blessed!
Happy 2013! |
